Beary Cute News
Not a lot of news here, but some good stuff, so here goes.
Finn is starting to sit up a little bit. He's delighted with himself and laughs whenever he does it and then laughs again whenever he topples over. It is super cute. He can sit up about 10-15 seconds at a time before he tries to move and falls in one direction or another. Our floors are hard wood, so he's only practiced sitting on the bed so far. I thought of making him kneepads for crawling which Mark told me is silly. I thought it was a good idea, but now I see that we need a whole body pad, really, so maybe a rug would be better.
We had a great visit with Barb last weekend, and got to go to the Texas Clay festival and see all kinds of beautiful wares and creations. Mark bought a beautiful coffee cup from my teacher who was showing there.
Mark's been out of town this weekend at the big conference in Chicago where he had one interview with Wooster college in Ohio.If we end up there, we will be joining Mark's brother and sister and their families who also live in Ohio, so that would be pretty handy. He also sent off an application last week to a school in Oregon, just to keep updating the list. So far Ohio is the only one we've heard back from.
I've had my hands full with the Finnster while Mark has been gone. It's been a long week, and I'm looking forward to things getting back to a little normal.
Finally, here are some pictures of Finn is his cute bear pajamas. This would have been a great Halloween costume, but with Mark out of town, we didn't do any Halloween. I didn't really feel like it, I like the idea, but didn't feel like it, and I figured this would be my last year to be able to skip it if I wanted, so we stayed in and did our normal thing, and didn't even know anything was going on outside of the house. Not sure our block got many trick-or-treaters anyway, as I didn't hear a thing.
